Seasons

By Sara Ray

Winter arrives like a sly fox in the night,

to call upon its prey,

asleep in warm beds.

Spring arrives like a blue bird,

warming up to sing.

Summer comes to greet us as we all go out to play,

after winter’s gone away.

Fall arrives silently like the golden brown leaves,

as they slowly flutter to the ground.
