First Page Reads

Tuesday, August 29th, 2017  from 6pm-8pm

We are looking forward to our second “First Page Read” event at Penn Cove Brewing Company in Coupeville. Last time we had such a good turn out, we knew instantly we’d have to make this a regular event. Unlike other open mic events, this one is strictly for writers.

We encourage all forms of writing, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc. There really are no limits to what you could share as long as you’re the one who wrote it. We encourage readings to stay between one and three pages long.  You’re welcome to sign up to read as many times as you’d like. While we call our event “First Page Reads” it isn’t limited to your first pages by any means.

Come and join us for a warm night filled with encouragement and writing. Spend a couple of hours with like minded people, networking, reading, sharing what you create. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!

Penn Cove Brewing Company is located at 103 S. Main St. Coupeville, WA 98239. They have an array of drinks and yummy food. This is an intamite, all ages location.
